If you're on a budget, but still looking for a WOW look, this might be for you! Hula hoops can be found at the Dollar Tree for you guessed it . . . one dollar. I opened up the hula hoop, where it was taped together, to take the small pebbles out of it. I decided I liked it better as an open wreath. Remember, have fun with it and let the creative juices flow! I used some green duck tape that was in my utility room to wrap around the hoop to cover the stripes. You could use green paint tape, floral tape or ribbon. Whatever you already own is what I recommend. Look for what you already have around the house. I also had some artificial greenery that I use at different times of the year, so I used it again for the wreath. Simply Wow look for one dollar! The hula hoop was so light that I was able to gently rest it on top of dining light fixture. Thanks for stopping by and happy out!

I won't bring my own tote bags to Trader Joe's because their paper bags are too stinkin artsy and cute! In fact, I may be guilty of shopping there for the reusable, recyclable paper bags. And I do reuse them! Here is just one creative way. I have some chalkboard surface pendants that stand out more with contrasting pendants behind them. Just lay out your paper bag, pick a pair of scissors and get to work. Doesn't take long at all!

In fact, when I go to garage sales, I look for items that just need a little help. To get started, look around your own place and see if there is something that could use an extra boost. You can find all your supplies: Mod Podge, decorative paper, brushes, twine and a paper trimmer at Hobby Lobby. Below is a candle that I bought for a dollar at a yard sale. Since the pink did not go with my décor - I podged it, wrapped it and tied it with twine. That's how I roll. It's just that easy! Found some mirrors at another sale that were almost free! The trim around the mirror was okay, but now they stand out after spending half an hour and a couple of dollars. The Mod Podge works best when you paint a thin coat on the surface you wish to cover. You may also paint Mod Podge over the paper after it has dried to create more of a glazed look, but I did not for these two projects. So don't forget this simple way of upgrading a few pieces you already have. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. 17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.
