Sure, boots were made for walking - but I still want them to keep their shape and stand tall when not in use. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to keep the shape of your boots, try using cardboard tubes from paper towel rolls! Simply collect the tubes after each roll is finished, and then spend only a dollar, plus tax, for a pair of ladies' black trouser socks from the Dollar Tree. Once you've collected three tubes per boot and purchased enough trouser socks for each pair of boots, you're ready to assemble your boot shapers! Simply tape or staple the three tubes together and gently pull one trouser sock over the connected tubes. Once the tubes are covered, tie the excess material of the sock and use it for a handle to easily insert your boot shapers and smoothly remove them.
