As I share from Nature Walk about being quenched in week four, I am so thankful for the precious rain we have received this week. Last week's post on roots, times of drought and where to be planted seemed divinely timed as the southeast is still experiencing drought, even with the precious rain we have received. Using Bible Stories from the Heart Nature Walk has been such a great study guide for our group. It has really helped me slow down and pay closer attention to what the Lord is teaching me through His word and His creation. A related verse used in our study comes to mind when I see the pic of this fountain. 13 Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” 15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.” John 4:13-15 (ESV) Once back inside, we started our Art Reflection Activity. While coloring, we thought about and took turns ansering week four's discussion questions. Then we started the SOAP Reflection Activity. "O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water." Psalm 63:1 (ESV) Hope you will take time to get still and focus on Him and His Word. Highly recommend this Bible study for your group!
