As the stresses of life attempt to overwhelm us daily, make sure to take precious time alone with Him. Let Him have your full attention and watch as the focus from all your worries begins to shift to the Creator. Our Bible study group went through Nature Walk from Bible Stories from the Heart by Leslie Eaton and here are some pictures from week two. The peaceful chirping notes of happy birds gently cascaded from the tree tops down to our ears. It didn't take long to notice the the great attention to detail God has placed all around us in His creation. And to know we are a beautiful and important part of His handiwork! What a beautiful day to take it all in. We approached the chapel where folks where gathered to pray for our nation. Notice the beautiful birds of the air and land, that have all their needs met and are covered in glorious garments. As we came back inside we started to get still again and focus on God's word as we began to color. Our group leader would ask us questions from the Nature Walk curriculum, as we listened to soft Spirit filled music. Such peace was in the room as we kept our focus on our heavenly Father and His words to us. You are far more valuable to Him than any birds. Luke 12:24 Let those words sink in for a moment. Hope you will take time to get still and focus on Him and His Word. Highly recommend this Bible study for your group!
